Committees

In addition to the ECOS Executive Committee (our board), ECOS has six standing committees and several supporting additional workgroups and forums. Information about them is below.

	Air The Air Committee targets its energy on air related issues such as NSR, global climate change and mercury deposition.			Cross-Media The core mission of the CMC is to launch and implement innovative multi-media initiatives.
	Water The Water and Ecosystems Committee was established to facilitate discussions among State colleagues concerning important water related issues.			Planning The Planning Committee was created to improve and enhance state strategic planning and priority setting efforts.
	Waste The Waste Committee was established to facilitate discussions among State colleagues concerning hazardous and non-hazardous waste issues.			Compliance The Compliance Committee focuses on enforcement and compliance assistance efforts across the country.
