The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) announced this week that public water systems have until December 5, 2025 to sign up for no-cost monitoring of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The testing is funded through Wyoming’s Emerging Contaminants in Drinking Water Grant and will help public water systems comply with new U.S. EPA PFAS drinking water regulation.
DEQ is also encouraging systems that are not subject to the new PFAS regulations to participate in order to help bolster the program’s data. For more information about the program, see here.
