This week, Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality celebrates Water and Wastewater Operator Week honoring water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and waste water treatment professionals who help deliver safe drinking water to the state.
February 5, 1975 marked the first operator certification rule in the state, which now employs 1,700 operators across 434 facilities. See the Governor’s proclamation.
