The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has developed checklists to assist in the development of Environmental Impact Reports (EIR Checklist) for Major State Projects and Federal Consistency Certifications (FCC Checklist). These checklists are provided as tools for major state projects – such as airports, electric power generation, or tidewater drilling projects – that must undergo DEQ review.
DEQ encourages applicants to use the checklists in the development of these documents and to include them in their submission.
