The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has announced the formation of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Reuse & Recycling Advisory Group to provide recommendations for legislation, policies, and practices encouraging the reuse and recycling of lithium-ion and other propulsion batteries used in EVs. The advisory group will be assembled through an application and selection process for representatives from various state agencies and industry groups relevant to EVs and batteries.
