On August 4-5, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality hosted the 2026 Public Drinking Water Conference in Austin and online. Water professionals, operators, and regulators gathered for two days of expert-led sessions and the latest on drinking water rules and technology.
The gathering allowed water system operators to speak with regulators one-on-one and receive assistance with needs and challenges.
