Arizona Urges U.S. DOD to Address PFAS in Groundwater Near Installations

On April 27, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey urged Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to direct the U.S. Department of Defense to identify and treat PFAS-contaminated water near four DOD installations in the state.

California Partners on Launch of Satellite Emissions Tracking System

In 2021, the California Air Resources Board partnered with the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and others to create Carbon Mapper, a nonprofit which deploys satellites to track methane and carbon dioxide emissions at the global and local level.
