The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is expanding its air quality monitoring across the state. This expansion will help citizens prepare for elevated levels of air pollution with a system that looks ahead three days and codes air quality levels as healthy for all, moderate, unhealthy for sensitive groups, or unhealthy for all.
The forecasts are shared on the MPCA website, and the air quality alerts will be shared through National Weather Service offices serving Minnesota.
