The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy will host the 2026 MI Healthy Climate Conference on April 21 in Detroit, Michigan. Building on the momentum of past years, the conference brings together representatives of local, state, and tribal governments; universities; community members; nonprofits; business leaders; and climate leaders from across the state and nation to:
- Report on the progress of the Michigan Healthy Climate Plan;
- Foster connection, conversation, and collaboration;
- Inspire attendees with real-world examples of community-led innovation and climate action;
- Mobilize resources, technical support, and funding opportunities to empower communities to implement local climate initiatives; and
- Celebrate the work being done to move climate action forward in Michigan.
This year’s conference will include inspiring plenary talks, breakout sessions, interactive office hours, and several networking opportunities. Register here.
