This week, ECOS posted a new video about Massachusetts Commercial Organic Waste Ban that took effect on October 1, 2014. This video, featuring Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Commissioner, Martin Suuberg, discusses how the organic waste ban is part of a larger waste diversion effort and how MassDEP worked with partners to provide technical assistance to implement the ban.
The video, which was developed through a partnership of MassDEP and the Center for EcoTechnology, is available on ECOS’ Vimeo channel. This video is the fourth in a series on replicable sustainability efforts coordinated by ECOS under a grant from U.S. EPA.
