The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) reports that more than 20 people attended the first Division of Compliance Assistance Environmental Assistance Workshop on March 2 in Frankfort. The workshop was designed for regulated entities with the goal of assisting and educating them understand and comply with environmental regulations. Speakers from the Division of Water, Division of Waste Management, and Division of Compliance Assistance highlighted common permits and authorizations issued by the DEP for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
