DEQ recognizes that demand for drinking water and wastewater grants has outpaced state and federal funding sources, requiring systems to develop financially sustainable infrastructure to serve the public amid funding shortfalls.
The day-long training will feature information on funding outlook versus current and future demands, cost drivers impacting projects and anticipated trends, case study examples, and practical next steps. Attendees will have direct access to DEQ and other experts for discussion and collaboration.
