In this resolution ECOS requests that if Congress takes action on PFAS liability and cleanup under CERCLA that they provide adequate resources to states to address PFAS; encourage EPA to use enforcement discretion to pursue polluters and reduce unfair situations; ensure that entities responsible for PFAS contamination including federal facilities remain liable and accountable; and avoid preemption of state laws, regulations, and standards.
