In this resolution, ECOS pledges its support for the ITRC mission and the program’s continued success; endorses ITRC as a mechanism for assisting state environmental agencies in gaining technical knowledge and implementing innovative environmental technologies; supports ITRC’s efforts to focus not only on environmental cleanups but also on proactive solutions to air, water, and waste challenges; commends the state and territorial staff and members of the ITRC for promoting environmental best practices; encourages state and territorial use of ITRC guidance documents, fact sheets, and trainings; encourages state and territorial sponsorship and participation in ITRC training events; supports state and territorial environmental agency leadership and participation in ITRC; encourages ITRC to collaborate with other organizations; and appreciates DOE, DOD, and EPA’s long-standing support of ITRC.
