In this resolution ECOS recommends EPA work with states in its oversight of delegated programs to improve data accuracy, streamline data requirements, and facility data transfers; recommends EPA work with states when revising data requirements to ensure they meet the decision-making needs and requirements; recommends that EPA consult with states on proper metrics and interpretation of state data; and recommends that EPA recognize the on-going costs of data collection, evaluation, and management.
