In this letter to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, ECOS asks Congress to adequately fund cleanup of the nuclear weapons complex in the FY26 budget to protect human health and the environment. The letter calls out some recent successes at the sites that demonstrate how cleanup work is progressing while noting that a lot of work is still left to be completed. The letter also notes the past and continuing critical defense work conducted at these sites.
