The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota Department of Health, and University of Minnesota are jointly offering a 2.5-day Chemical Vapor Intrusion mitigation course on the University’s St. Paul Campus. The February 20-22 course will address a variety of issues including chemical health risks; chemical vapor intrusion; worker health and safety; and mitigation system design, installation, and monitoring. Course content integrates state and federal guidance, national standards of practices, and applied research.
The training is open on a space-available basis to anyone interested in traveling to Minnesota. Those completing the course will receive a University of Minnesota course completion certificate and will be eligible to receive Category 1 continuing education credits from the National Radon Proficiency Program.
