Visit our new ECOS Calendar

ECOS convenes two general membership meetings per year, an annual membership meeting and a spring membership meeting. In addition, ECOS hosts multiple project-based meetings. HOTEL:

ROOM UPDATE: Because La Fonda on the Plaza is sold out for the nights of the ECOS meeting, ECOS has arranged a limited number of overflow rooms at the federal per diem rate of $88 at the Inn and Spa at Loretto, located less than a five-minute walk from La Fonda. A lodger's tax of 7% and gross receipts tax of 8.1875% apply. Reserve at

or call (866) 582-1646. The hotel has a 72-hour cancellation policy. The special daily valet parking rate at Loretto for ECOS attendees is $10. PREVIOUS ROOM INFORMATION: Attendees should make their own room reservations at La Fonda on the Plaza at the link below or (800) 523-5002, #1. The special ECOS group rate is available until noon Mountain Time on August 15 or until sellout of the room block, whichever is sooner. ECOS' room rate is $88 (prevailing 2014 federal per diem) for single/double occupancy, plus a lodger's tax of 7% and gross receipts tax of 8.1875%. The charge for additional room occupants beyond two is $15 per person per night. Children 12 and under stay free when in the room with parents and using existing bedding. If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a penalty of the first night's room and tax. ECOS room nights include September 14, 15, and 16, with limited availability on September 13 and 17. Check-in time is 3 p.m., and check-out time is noon.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

Shuttle service is a convenient and affordable option from both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports, and early reservations are recommended. Round trip transportation between Santa Fe Municipal Airport and La Fonda via Roadrunner Shuttle (www.rideroadrunner.com) ranges from $28 to $38 depending on the times, and the ride is approximately 25 minutes. Round trip transportation between Albuquerque International Sunport and La Fonda via Sandia Shuttle Express (www.sandiashuttle.com) is $48, and the ride is approximately 70 minutes. Albuquerque airport service is also available but more expensive via Roadrunner.
