Clean Water Act Action Plan

In October 2009, EPA issued a Clean Water Act Action Plan with the plan to improve permitting and enforcement efforts aimed at addressing water quality.  In order to put the full Plan into place and to implement it, EPA has engaged the States.  Current information on the Action Plan is located on this webpage.

Interim Guidance

In June 2010, EPA released interim guidance for the Action Plan to provide short-term focus for water enforcement and compliance efforts while the full Action Plan is being developed and implemented.  The cover memo for this interim guidance and the guidance are accessible below.
