Allies Against Asthma is a program funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop coalitions bringing together clinical and public health approaches to asthma. The principal focus is on improving management of asthma for individual patients. Eight communities received awards for planning projects. This site has pages for capacity-building that include resources for developing leadership, assessing communities needs, and developing cultural competence and a troubleshooting guide for community oriented processes.
